So I know that I posted about this on here before but now I have a YouTube video about it as well. Check out my opinion:

  • The big 3 most people have said for a long time were Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach. I think Bleach has fallen off the map and Naruto is finished (manga-wise). One Piece won’t be over for a while, Oda even mentioned that the series is only 60% done with 700+ episodes out so far. So One Piece is definitely still in the top 3.

The big 3 nowadays I believe is One Piece, Fairy Tail, and One Punch Man. One Punch Man is recent but it’s gotten loads of support and a growing fan base. For me though, my top 3 are: One Piece, Naruto Shippuden, and DBZ. But I’m really starting to like One Punch Man. Attack on Titan is cool too.

Also, if you have free time you should watch One Piece. It’s really good especially after season 8. Might take you a long time to catch up but it’s worth it ^_^

  • Love the new update to the website. I never got into bleach the first few episodes literally put me to sleep. I find I am one of those people who can’t like the most popular anime and shows. Its like game of thrones. So many people watch it that I, someone who doesn’t watch it at all, know so much about a show I have never seen. Just like how I know about most of the goings on in Naruto. All that being said, I haven’t watched any of the popular ones or if I do it will be when its no longer hip. Silly I know, but that’s how my brain works.

  • Personally, I the big three is still One Piece, Naruto and Bleach. This was talked throughout online and I always enjoyed it that way. I guess the current Big 3 would be Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online and Tokyo Ghoul for others.

  • One Piece would keep it’s slot for me since it’s part of the original big 3, it’s still very popular, and it’s had the most manga sales in history. Fairy Tail would fill slot #2 because of how it’s long-running and yet still keeps it’s popularity. I know among my friends at college, 50% or more of those friends that watch anime have seen Fairy Tail and enjoy it. For #3, to be honest I’m not sure. I would say Attack on Titan, but episodes haven’t been released frequently enough yet. There’s definitely a buzz, but I wouldn’t consider AOT to fill slot #3 until more episodes are released and popularity rises even higher. The other I’m thinking about is Detective Conan/Case Closed. While it’s really popular in Japan, and I’m a fan of it myself, it’s much less popular in America. Well, it didn’t help that the English dub isn’t note-worthy. It also only aired for it’s first two seasons here in the States. As far as other candidates for slot #3, IDK. We’ll wait and see.
