Is Toonami Boring Now?!

Published June 24, 2015 by Shay Taree

I’ve started to realize that I’m not all that into Toonami as I was before. I’m not sure if it’s because of the shows that are now on Toonami or if it’s the time that Toonami is now on.

I mean I’ve said this before but I wish that Toonami was all day on Saturday since just a few hours in the middle of the night when most people are asleep isn’t enough. Well at least to me it isn’t. Plus maybe it could be because a lot of the shows they are airing are either ones I’m not interested in or I’ve seen before.

Now don’t get me wrong I like Toonami and I would rather it be how it is now rather than not have it at all. But does anyone else agree with me or understand. Comment down below what you think. I would love to know!

  • Yah,I can see what you mean. I’ll turn it on sometimes realizing it’s late and thinking ‘Oh,Toonami must be on’,and then it’s right in the middle of some show and normally it’s just not to my tastes. There are some decent shows on there, but personally I don’t really like what they’re putting on. Shows like One Piece and umm, other things I’ve partly seen, but don’t know the names of. It’s just not quite as interesting.

  • Maybe Toonami could improve if they bring back the classics. As a kid, I remember Toonami showed Dragon Ball, DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam and Sailor Moon.

      • Bring those three for the old Toonami viewers. I know that they DBZ Kai, but I also enjoyed the previous voice cast, like before Colleen Clinkenbeard did Gohan’s voice in Kai, Stephanie Nadolny was the first and she even did Kid Goku. As for the two, we need some classic samurai anime and anime appealing to girls XD.

  • I grew up with toonami was where I watched any of my childhood cartoons like teen titans, scooby doo and dragonball z. I have no idea what it’s like now but I am guessing it was better back in the old days ^^
